Today we are happy to announce Pixel Raffle’s first set of RaffleMints, designed to steadily turn up the heat, so we can all shrug off the frost that’s putting so many NFT projects into a deep freeze (IYKYK). The seasons will change and the NFT market will inevitably thaw. It is our hope that Pixel Raffle will be one of the many sparks that will reignite excitement in this space and accelerate its reawakening. With raffles and prizes both small and large on the horizon everyone will get the opportunity to enjoy the excitement of minting once more!

The Big Idea

Until now, most newly minted NFT collections go through an “unrevealed” phase where all the collectibles display a uniform image. We think this is a missed opportunity. Pixel Raffle employs custom smart contracts allowing new NFT collections to begin life as a raffle prior to their big reveal.

When the total supply is reached the minting contract triggers the Chainlink VRF contract to randomly select one of the NFTs from the collection as the winning ticket. The holder of the winning ticket will automagically receive their prize, and officially go down in the history books as a degen legend. Shortly thereafter, all the tickets will transform into their fully revealed states and the project can embark on its journey with their community, riding the wave of excitement generated by this game of chance.

Initially, the Pixel Raffle platform will be used to launch a series of fun games and competitions playable inside our Discord server, where holders can participate in ongoing chances to win crypto and other prizes. Then after rigorous testing, we plan to collaborate with other up-and-coming projects to launch their collections on the Pixel Raffle platform, allowing them to harness the awesome hype-building power of our provably-fair raffle incentivized minting system.

Who’s Behind It?

Both Pixel Raffle and our web3 gaming project 8-Bit Legends are the result of over a year’s development by D¢ENT Ventures, a Web3 product development studio. Our team consists of crypto-industry veterans who have helped other projects achieve success. Now, working in concert to bring their own visions to the forefront of the NFT and crypto space.

Introducing the Turbo RaffleMint Series

In just a week’s time, we will initiate the first of many low-cost/low-risk raffles in our Turbo RaffleMint Series. These raffles are designed to be as accessible as possible for anyone to participate in, allowing us to show off our proof-of-concept, while building a more engaged community.

Our Turbo RaffleMints, or TRMs for short, will start off small with a low barrier-to-entry and amazing odds of hitting the jackpot. As we successfully complete some small raffles we will begin to introduce two more tiers. Our medium and large raffles. That way we have a flavor for every risk apatite.

Additionally, we’ll be tying each RaffleMint to a variety of post-reveal NFT collections that will provide fun and utility across the Pixel Raffle and 8-Bit Legends ecosystems. More details will be provided as we launch the respective raffles.

As for the first in the series, here are the deets:

First up, Pixel Pingo!

Once the winner is drawn and the prize has been distributed, the tickets will miraculously transform into Pixel Pingo Cards. These are like Bingo cards, but pixelated. Get it!? Upon reveal of the first set of cards we will begin hosting weekly Pingo games on our Discord server. Pixel Pingo Card holders who participate will have a chance to win all sorts of prizes including crypto, free mints, airdrops, whitelist spots, NFTs and more!

All said and done, there will only be a total of 1,000 Pingo cards in the collection, minted over the course of 20 raffles. However, that is not the only gamified RaffleMint collection we have planned. Not by a long shot! We will be releasing information about more exciting developments like this as they are ready to be rolled out.
